The Horse Trough
This old horse trough stands adjacent to the village sign on the green
opposite the White Horse pub. It commemorates Queen
Victoria’s diamond jubilee.
King’s Head Public House
A striking picture of one of the local public houses.
Recreation ground by Noakes Place
This picture shows part of the recreation ground on which
stood Noakes
Place, at one time one of the larger houses in the village. It was
replaced in the 1960s by the Buckleys development.
